A Buddy is someone in the village who would be there to help someone in need, be they in self isolation, feeling vulnerable, or unable to go about their daily lives.  It could involve a bit of shopping and generally checking up on their welfare.

DO YOU NEED HELP?

If you have to go into self isolation or require help of any sort, contact any of the following.  They will allocate a Buddy to you.
